Yizi International launched Cadbury milk packaging in the UK, using 30% recycled plastic packaging

On September 28, Yizi International announced that Cadbury Milk and Cadbury Mini Snowball 110g Shared Stick, manufactured in Bernville and sold in Britain and Ireland, now uses 30% recycled plastic packaging. The company has started to introduce packaging innovation in more than 28 million shared bars.

Using the mass balance method, the post consumer recycled plastic packaging will be independently certified by ISCC and supplied in cooperation with Amko. Amko is a global leader in the development and production of responsible packaging for food and other industries, which shows that the material has a high demand worldwide, including the UK.

Cadbury's world initiative is part of the broader global goal of Yizi International, that is, by 2025, assuming that the product portfolio remains unchanged, the company plans to reduce the use of original plastic materials by 5% in the overall plastic packaging product portfolio.

The company has used 75% recycled plastics (RPET) in Dairylea lunch packaging in the UK, and from next year, the company will also start using certified plastics and recycled materials in its bathtubs and lids in Philadelphia using a mass balance method. This latest project on Cadbury Milk is another example of how Yizi International provides the company with the "Pack Light and Right" sustainable packaging strategy and its efforts to achieve the goals of the British Plastic Convention.
