Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center integrates exhibition, conference, business, catering, entertainment and other functions. It is invested and constructed by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and commissioned by Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center Management Co., Ltd. to operate. It was officially put into use in 2004. Since its opening in 2004, about 100 exhibitions and more than 1,800 conference activities have been held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center each year, with an annual exhibition area of more than 2.8 million square meters.
Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the central area of the city. It covers an area of 220,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 280,000 square meters. It is 540 meters long from east to west and 282 meters wide from north to south. The highest point is 60 meters above ground, 6 floors above ground and 2 floors underground. The steel structure, glass dome and curtain wall are perfectly combined, and under the embellishment of lights at night, it is exquisite and translucent, and it has the reputation of "Crystal Palace".
The exhibition, conference and service functions are arranged in layers, which are relatively independent and closely coordinated. The 9 large exhibition halls on the first floor are paved into a "U" shape, with an indoor exhibition area of 105,000 square meters, which can accommodate a large-scale exhibition of 5,000 international standard booths. The conference center is suspended above the exhibition hall. There are 35 meeting rooms with excellent functions and different sizes. At the same time, it can be used as a mid-to-high-end dining venue. The main aisle in the second-floor service area is 480 meters long, running from east to west, with up-and-down access, providing various exhibition supporting services in a centralized manner.
