From January to October 2021, the total value of imports and exports of 12 key tariff lines of plastic machinery in China is US$4.839 billion, a year-on-year increase of 35.18%. Among them, the import value was 1.796 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 30.13%; the export value was nearly 3.043 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 38.34%; the trade surplus was nearly 1.247 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 52.17%.
In terms of product breakdown, the import and export volume of injection molding machines increased by 38% and 50% year-on-year respectively; the import and export volume of plastic granulating machines increased by 40% and 50% year-on-year; the total import volume of various blow molding machines increased by 9% year-on-year. The volume increased by 13% year-on-year; the import and export volume of plastic hollow molding machines increased by 169% and 28% year-on-year respectively; the import volume of plastic calender molding machines decreased by 23% year-on-year, and the export value increased by 63% year-on-year.
In terms of the source of imports, from January to October 2021, China's imports of 12 tax code presses from Asia amounted to nearly 1.028 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 37.32% year-on-year; imports from Europe amounted to 716 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 21.67% year-on-year; imports from North America The amount was US$51.79 million, a year-on-year increase of 21.30%.
The top ten sources of imports accounted for 96.44% of the import volume of plastic machines during the same period. Among them, imports from Japan were US$833 million, a year-on-year increase of 40.86%; imports from Germany US$542 million, a year-on-year increase of 33.34%; imports from Italy, South Korea and the United States The year-on-year increase was 33.39%, 81.84%, and 56.89%; the imports from Austria, Switzerland, and Canada were down 5.42%, 73.77%, and 33.48% year-on-year.
In terms of export distribution, from January to October 2021, the value of China's plastic machinery exports to all continents continued to maintain a rapid growth of more than 30%, and the growth rate was slightly narrowed. Among them, exports to Asia were US$1.551 billion, a year-on-year increase of 35.11%; exports to Europe were US$542 million, a year-on-year increase of 32.97%; exports to Latin America and North America were US$327 million and US$322 million, respectively, a year-on-year increase of 79.23%. , 30.69%; exports to Africa were 264 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 38.93% year-on-year. The export value of the top ten markets accounted for 52.05% of the export value of plastic machinery in the same period, of which the export value to Vietnam accounted for 10.28%; the export value to the United States accounted for 9.72%.
